Internship Branches
Our Aster Lit internship is broken into 3 branches to ensure interns have the opportunity to grow their preexisting skills and explore new interests
Editorial: Learn how to work within a literary magazine! Interns will have the opportunity to learn how to critically read submissions, provide detailed feedback, build on their leadership skills, and write an essay (to be published in Issue 16) about their experience exploring the importance of interdisciplinary arts and cross cultural connections.
Podcast: Explore the realm of auditory arts via our Ad Aster podcast team! Interns will learn how to draft scripts, interview literary and visual artists, edit episodes, and write transcripts, all while co-producing their own episode!
Social Media/Web Design: Outreach to the Aster Lit community through our Social Media & Web Design team! Interns will learn how to develop a brand guide, create Instagram posts and stories, host their own livestream, build the Aster Lit website, study our demographics, and create their own design portfolio.
