Ruins

Sreedaatree C, India

Lying amongst the ruins of what once was, we trace the heavens.
Fingers outline paths invisible to the human gaze; mere mortal whispers in this vast sea of existences.
These ever-present arrivals and departures; these momentary glimpses of eternity.

Lying amongst the ruins of what once was, we trace the heavens.
Fingers outline paths invisible to the human gaze; paths of those who have been before and those who are yet to be.
These unfathomable abysses of inception and conclusions; these momentary glimpses of hallways walked halfway through.

Lying amongst the ruins of what once was, we trace the heavens.
Fingers outline paths invisible to the human gaze; infinite time stretches towards an unknown horizon.
These incomprehensible expanses of space and matter; these momentary glimpses of perpetuity.

Lying amongst the ruins of what once was, we trace the heavens.
Fingers outline paths invisible to the human gaze; we look within ourselves.
These unattainable desires that we birth and foster; these momentary glimpses of a glorious immortality.

Lying amongst the ruins of what once was, we trace the heavens.
Fingers outline paths invisible to the human gaze; that of the heart.
These hearts of ours, beating wildly in hushed stillnesses; these momentary glimpses of our magnificent forever.
